In-Service: Tutor Roundtable Wednesday

Being an adult literacy tutor is rewarding but challenging! Take this opportunity to talk with others who understand. Our tutor roundtable, with tutors from both Literacy Rochester and our sister organization, LiteracyCNY, will be facilitated by Program Director Jennifer Eaton. This will give you the chance to share ideas, and learn from staff and fellow tutors. Do you have specific tutoring questions you’d like addressed? Please submit them to Abby Holloway, student coordinator, at aholloway@literacyrochester.org by Friday, June 9th.

LiteracyCNY and Literacy Rochester are committed to providing tutors and other volunteers with continuing education. This program is recommended for both beginning and experienced tutors, whether you work with Basic Literacy students, or English-as-another-language students.
