Complete Lessons & Earn Certificates
- After completing a lesson: Learners can take a Northstar Skills Assessment to test their knowledge.
- Pass the assessment: Learners must score 85% or higher to pass.
- Earn a certificate: When a learner passes a proctored assessment, they can earn a Northstar Digital Literacy Certificate. Certificates can be added to a resume or included with a job application.
- What does “proctored” mean? The learner completes an assessment while supervised by a Digital Literacy volunteer. Proctoring can be done in person or remotely.
- Earn a digital badge: When a learner passes an unproctored assessment, they will receive a digital badge.
Need a proctor? Contact Literacy Rochester or visit a Digital Literacy volunteer to arrange a proctoring session.
