This is my first month with Literacy Rochester as the One-to-One Coordinator/Case Manager and I am very excited to be here! I’ve followed Literacy Rochester for many years and am constantly impressed with the wide variety services it provides adult learners.
When I was growing up, my parents encouraged me to read and I would spend hours exploring new adventures that books offered.
Over the years, my experience in education and human services has allowed me connect with people from all walks of life. I am always excited to see what I will learn next. I am constantly inspired when I meet people and learn what obstacles they have overcome to achieve their goals. I am a firm believer in constantly moving forward from wherever you start!
In my spare time, I like getting together with friends, knitting sweaters, and caring for my wide variety of plants (otherwise known as my “leaf pets”). I also have a great love of music in all forms and take in the various music festivals throughout the area.
Learning is the only thing the mind never exhausts, never fears, and never regrets.
