Using Journey to Success for ABE/BLL Tutors

Greg Stultz from Pro Literacy/New Readers Press will facilitate this presentation about the Journey to Success series we have in our library. This series is relatively new so many tutors may not be familiar with it. Greg will show us:

• How Journey’s lesson template uses evidence-based reading instruction and is consistent across all levels.
• Each level of Journey to Success, show recurring themes and content, and discuss the shifts in complexity.
• Journey to Success online resources including

• • Placement test and placement chart
  • Level reviews
  • Teacher’s Guides
  • Scope and sequence
  • TABE correlations
  • TABE Study Guide

We will end the session with a Q&A session with Greg as well and our instructional staff.

The in-service event will be held via Zoom for Literacy Rochester and LiteracyCNY volunteers.
